Pirastro P112351 violin string D-3 thick (19 3/4), gut

The Pirastro P112351 D-3 gut string for violin is designed for players who want to recreate the Baroque sound. With a D-3 gauge (19 3/4), this gut string delivers a warm, full tone and a wide dynamic range, from subtle pianissimo to expressive fortissimo. Perfect for Baroque repertoire and historical performances, where gut strings provide the characteristic response and articulation that make modern synthetic strings less natural.

Note: Gut strings are sensitive to moisture and temperature fluctuations. For the best response, tune regularly, ensure a stable environment, and maintain careful instrument settings. Store the string in a dry place and replace it promptly if the tone or tension deteriorates. This string is an excellent choice for violinists seeking an authentic baroque sound without sacrificing expression.
